Previously to his career as an illustrator, Scarecrowoven was employed as a graphic designer and art director in the music industry were he mastered his foundations in color theory and design. His fanatical admiration for bright and bold color pallets in technicolor movies coupled with his obsessive service to fine detail are the hallmarks of his trademark style. With his influences in skateboard graphics and comics from the 80’s, Scarecrowoven mashes up his love of skate culture, music, veaganism, monsters movies and nature, to blanket the commercial illustration world. His work has been exhibited in galleries across the united states and internationally and his illustrative contributions range from clients like Creature skateboards, Warner music, Marvel comics, Mondo, Fright Rags and Horrorhound Magazine.
