MondoCon - News

It’s so close you can almost taste the Con Beer, MondoCon is just a few days away. We wanted to reach out with one last update before the doors of The Palmer open this Saturday at 10am!

First up, some bad, some good. The bad, Scarecrowoven is no longer able to attend. The good, Mark Brickey is bringing his Adventures In Design Podcast to MondoCon and will be conducting live interviews on site. As a special bonus, MondoCon attendees are invited to sit in and be a part of the show. Mark’s current schedule is below, but is subject to change. Keep your eyes on @MondoCon’s Instagram for any updates during the convention.

Saturday
Leslie Herman 12:00PM
Becky Cloonan 3:30 PM

Sunday
Sam Wolfe Connelly 1:30 PM
Jen Bartel 3:30 PM
Matty Ryan Tobin 5:00 PM

If you are not familiar with Adventures In Design, check out the latest episode featuring Mondo’s Brock Otterbacher as they discuss all things Mondo and, of course, MondoCon right HERE.

We are also going to have a table set up specifically for artist signings. Schedules will be posted both mornings on the @MondoCon Instagram and at the table itself! So far, we’ve confirmed the following:

Saturday
Sachin Teng at 1:00PM
Craig Oldham signing his They Live book 2pm
(50 copies of They Live will be available at the Mondo satellite booth)

Sunday
Johnny Dombrowski 11am
Jen Bartel 1pm

It’s also worth noting that some of Sonny Day’s Skate Art Workshops are close to selling out. If you’re on the fence, it would be worth securing your spot in advance so you don’t get left out.

Get your tickets HERE.

Lastly, we wanted to share a map of the area to outline where to park, pick up your wristbands and line up for anyone who is unfamiliar with the area, and an updated floor plan!

Ok! We’ll see you all at The Palmer this weekend! Be sure to keep your eyes on the @MondoCon Instagram for breaking information, giveaways and surprises! If you have any questions, hit us up at [email protected]!
