We haven’t stopped listening to this since Milan sent it to us last month. I think it’s fair to say that this score is an absolute masterpiece and possibly Martinez’s best yet.
A thrilling mixture of atmospheric synth textures blended with some incredible, minimal techno tracks all masterfully rendered by Martinez, whose relationship with Refn is one of perfect symbiosis. THE NEON DEMON is a rollercoaster ride that slides from industrial techno menace to minimal dark passages that make you feel uneasy and restless.
