LIBRARY OF THE OCCULT / THE SOLAR CRYPT (On-Sale Info)
News
As you may know, we try to distribute records by as many labels we love (and often in exclusive colorways), supporting and promoting music and folks we admire. Like we did last month with our friends at BURNING WITCHES, this week we are continuing that monthly highlighting of some of the greatest labels in the vinyl space.
This week, we are excited to be spotlighting the great people at LIBRARY OF THE OCCULT. On Wednesday, we will be stocking our site with some of their latest releases, including THE SOLAR CRYPT, as well as THE CONTINUOUS KATHERINE MORTEHNOE, WOLF, and STORM.

Here's a little bit, straight from the LIBRARY OF THE OCCULT team:

"The Library Of The Occult opened its doors in the summer of 2020 with the score to the classic Dennis Wheatley book The Devil Rides Out, recorded by label boss, Dream Division. The label's inspiration comes from the golden age of British horror, which be heard on some of our "lost soundtrack" releases such as The Unseen's '60s folk horror album The Goatman or Blood Mansion by Garden Gate. This year has seen us explore the world of original stories with the Tales From The Library Of The Occult series of deluxe vinyl releases, featuring guest readers narrating chilling tales, all soundtracked by new and regular names to fans of the label.

Our focus on presentation is a big part of the label. Whether it is a new issue of the LOTO fanzine (included with the first 100 orders) or the posters with each new album, cassettes, album artwork and pressings, all the extra work that goes into each release is an important piece of the label's identity.

As any good library should, we have a wide variety for anyone looking to add some Magick to their record player, as well as Psych, Experimental Jazz, Haunted Field Recordings ... and music for your next Dungeons and Dragons adventure!"
As always, all new releases go on sale on Wednesdays at 12PM CT.
