As Bloody Disgusting premiered yesterday, we will be releasing THE OMEN Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Jerry Goldsmith on vinyl on March 4th, 2014 and it will feature amazing new artwork by Phantom City Creative. Not too much else to report on the subject, but we did want to address an issue that will effect this edition in the long term.
The image above is of a third variation of THE OMEN soundtrack that we unfortunately won't be able to sell on March 4th. Limited to 800 copies, the "Striped" record quite simply has some audio issues that the others don't, and we are currently getting it repressed to correct this. We don't know when the repress will arrive, since most plants are bottlenecking due to Record Store Day. It could be a month or two at this point. We just want to be as transparent as possible, so that when these variants do eventually go on sale you are aware that these aren't from a second edition pressing. As with all of our records, these are one-time, limited edition pressings. More info to come. Thank you, as always for supporting our soundtrack label.
