MIND INTERN is an interactive showcase of paintings and drawings from Australian artist and illustrator Sonny Day, one half of Australian illustration duo webuyyourkids.
The show centers around the idea of anxiety, and what would happen if it were possible to delegate all the stress and worry in your life to an intern so you could get on with more important things. The works presented will show what a Mind Intern has to deal with on a daily basis.
For two days prior to the show opening, the public is invited to visit the gallery and have Sonny draw their portrait and capture their Mind Intern, like a sketch artist. Additionally, Sonny welcomes visitors to create their very own illustrations, which will be hung alongside the main body of work.
