I've been a fan of Tim Sale for as long as I can remember reading comics... even before I began to recognize the singular name running through these books that caught my eye. His loose, pen and ink renderings of my favorite characters immediately stood out to me and appealed to my taste. Everything from his 'color' books (DAREDEVIL: YELLOW stands as my favorite DD tale), but in particular with BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN. To this day, his iconic, dripping-in-noir aesthetic remains among the top interpretations of the Dark Knight Detective, which is mighty impressive considering the character's mammoth 75 year history. We're extremely honored to have Tim join us at MondoCon this year!
