Laurent Durieux is an complete enigma to me. I can usually look at something and loosely understand or reverse engineer how it was achieved, but when I study Laurent's work - I'm at a loss. He possesses a style that is uniquely his own and has confidently staked a claim in his retro-futuristic-art deco-cross hatching excellence. For those who have yet to meet the man from Belgium, he's just as delicate and elegant as his art suggests.
