Static Medium
Our friends at the LA-based fine art printing company Static Medium have some awesome things lined up for MondoCon, and we're stoked to give you a sneak peek. First up, they'll be giving attendees an inside look with a large format digital scanning back camera, along with a unique photo booth experience. We can't wait to check this out.
We're thrilled to announce that Audrey Kawasaki will be in attendance at Static Medium's booth! A selection of Audrey's older, archived prints will be for sale, including 50 copies of her incredible print "Forget Me Not."
They'll also be releasing some killer artwork by J.A.W. Cooper and Brian Mashburn. You can get a peek at Brian's piece - which will be available as both a painting & print - below.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE
He-Man, She-Ra, Skeletor, and all the fantastical characters, creatures, and worlds from Masters of the Universe have inspired generations of fans over the years, and we're thrilled represent the property at MondoCon this year. Epic battles of Good vs Evil, guiding morality lessons, and enduring character designs offer a wealth of creative opportunity for posters, collectible figures, and more!
We're also excited to show the first in a series of MOTU 1/6 Scale Collectible Figures: He-Man & Skeletor! Designed by Dave Rapoza and Joe Allard, and sculpted by Ramirez Studios, you'll get a sneak peek of the prototypes! Check out a tease of some of the designs below.
BATMAN (1989) Screening
In 1989, Tim Burton gave us his incredible version of Batman, combining a masterful blend of gorgeous production design, an incredible soundtrack (from both Prince and Danny Elfman) and the inspired casting of Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. The modern superhero blockbuster was born. We’re extremely excited to present the film in beautiful 35mm at MondoCon this year with a limited edition, screen printed poster by Ken Taylor. Poster is included in the ticket price and only available to attendees. Stay tuned for ticketing information!
