There are a lot of similarities to be found between Mondo and Oni Press. Oni Press was founded based on wanting to produce a product that the founders would themselves want to read. This is not entirely dissimilar from one of our main goals of MondoCon. See? Simpatico. Of course, this isn't the only reason we wanted them to come to Austin this September. They are also responsible for publishing some of our favorite books not focusing on vigilante crime fighters. Amazing titles like The Sixth Gun, Local, Queen & Country and, of course, Scott Pilgrim, among other fantastic books. We're thrilled to welcome Oni Press to MondoCon 2014!
