We are thrilled to announce that the Iron Giant Deluxe Figure will be available for Pre-Order starting tomorrow. We worked to obtain the digital files used in the film to create the most accurate and detailed Iron Giant figure to date. As you guys probably know by now, we’re huge fans of the film and it’s been an incredible process bringing this hero to life.
The figure features over 30 points of articulation and a variety of accessories allowing you to transform the Iron Giant into all of his notable incarnations. You’ll receive two interchangeable heads with light-up eyes, a magnetic “S” that can be detached from a Seafood sign and attached to his chest, switch-out “War Arm” when things get tense, a Hogarth mini-figure that sits perfectly in his hand, and of course, a girder to munch on. Additionally, the figure includes a sound feature with favorite Iron Giant quotes from the film.
Available exclusively on our site, we'll also have a special limited edition version that comes with the "Hand Under Foot" accessory, modeled after the Iron Giant's detached hand that runs loose in the farmhouse.
We had an opportunity to show the figure to Iron Giant director, Brad Bird, at Skywalker Ranch where he's finishing post-production on his latest film, Tomorrowland. He was delighted with the figure, in both detail and accuracy, but even more so that there was still a passionate fan base for the film so many years later.
