If you're a vinyl soundtrack fan, you really can't miss what we have going on next week. We're so excited to announce AUDYSSEY, a Pop-Up Record Store on March 17th at The Highball in Austin featuring killer soundtracks from Mondo, Death Waltz Recording Co. and a number of labels from around the world. In addition to a large assortment of current titles, we'll have a limited selection of previously sold out vinyl...we're talking Drive, Jurassic Park and Halloween to name a few.
The Pop-Up shop will also premiere the vinyl soundtrack for the film A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night - the first Iranian Vampire Western ever made - ahead of its official vinyl / CD & Digital release in April. The double LP is housed inside a die-cut jacket with two interchangeable inner sleeves and will feature an exclusive variant pressing in Bright White & Onyx Black limited to 500 copies at the event. Additionally, we'll have a poster available by Levente Szabó. You can view a trailer for the film here.
At 9pm, we'll have a performance by Portland-based Federale featuring their spaghetti-western inspired sounds from the A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night soundtrack. We'll also have guest DJ sets, including one from Wooden Wisdom (Elijah Wood & Zach Cowie).
The event will be from Noon to Midnight on March 17th:
