As our love of pop culture and artist collaboration has evolved into a hydra of creative products, Mondo really just began as a humble screenprinting hub, within the walls of the original Alamo Drafthouse, at 4th and Colorado in downtown Austin, Texas.
Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that we'd have an exhibit in Japan showcasing well over a decade's worth of film art, from the minds of incredibly talented artists. We're honored to be the subjects of Mondo: The Front Runner of Film Poster Art, the ninth in a series of film poster exhibitions held jointly by the National Film Archive of Japan and the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto.

So, if you find your way in to the National Film Archive of Japan from December 7th, 2021 to March 26th, 2022 (and in Kyoto, beginning in May), stop on by the exhibit to check out over 71 prints on display from artists, like Ken Taylor, Attack Peter, Becky Cloonan, Jay Shaw -- all of the stars are there!
