Measuring in at 10” tall, Attack Peter’s Creature From the Black Lagoon – Vinyl Designer Figure features multiple points of articulation, including the head, shoulders and wrists. This week, the figure debuts with the Green Timed Edition Variant.

“I’ve always had a soft spot for the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Not only was he far and away my favorite of the Universal Monsters, but I knew as a kid that he was terribly misunderstood.
It’s incredible to think that this is now the 5th figure I’ve had a hand in designing that features this linocut, block-print style. The fact of the matter is I’m not the first person to make linoleum block prints. I’m not even the best printmaker I know. But I AM incredibly grateful that I’ve been given the opportunity to introduce many people to this medium and even more so that I’ve been trusted to interpret historic icons like the Creature from the Black Lagoon in my style.
This figure is the result of a lot of hard work between myself, the brilliant Hector Arce, sculptor Tufan Sezer and painter Hilary Arce. We all spent a lot of time getting this to the point where it felt like it earned its right in the pantheon of great Creature figures and statues. Everything from his expression, the length of his torso, the colors chosen to the ridges on his fins, was labored over knowing that real monster fans would be looking closely. I’m so proud of the work our team did translating the flat graphic quality of my work into 3D. It was challenging but truly a labor of love.
And speaking of love, that’s all the Creature ever wanted. So, I invite you to make space on your shelf for this briny romantic, a tangible testament to our team’s passion and dedication.”
