This week, we’ve got our third batch of releases from our 20 Years of IFC Films collection.
First up is a new poster for SPUTNIK by Adam Maida. This is our first poster with Adam and we’re super excited about working with him. SPUTNIK is a great alien / space horror thriller about a cosmonaut who returns, with an alien parasite residing in him. It’s an excellent creature feature with a political / sci-fi thriller bend to it that’s awesome.
We’ve also got THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE by Tula Lotay. There’s not much to say here: Tula is a dream artist, and she conjured up a gorgeous and nightmarish poster for one of our favorite modern horror films. If you have not seen this one, we highly recommend adding it to your horror movie watchlist for October.
Last but certainly not least, all grrrls to the front for a new poster for THE PUNK SINGER by We Buy Your Kids. This is a documentary about legendary musician, and pioneering founding mother of the riot grrrl revolution: Kathleen Hanna. Kathleen’s impact on this world cannot be understated, and we’re so, so excited to make a poster for Sini Anderson’s great doc about her life and career. If you haven’t seen it, check it out. Then go buy all the Bikini Kill, Le Tigre, and Julie Ruin records you can. Sonny and Biddy crushed the artwork, and it’s available in three colorways.
