First introduced in 1947 in long-running stories by comic book trailblazer Carl Barks, many of us got to know Uncle Scrooge either via Mickey's Christmas Carol (natch) or, of course, adventuring with his grandnephews in the iconic late-'80s series DuckTales and its 2017 remake.
