ANNIHILATION by Rory Kurtz
Simply put, this is one of the most beautiful posters created for Mondo in the 10 years I’ve worked here.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY by Rich Kelly
Rich Kelly is always so exciting to work with. His posters ooze kinetic energy like no one else’s. Look at this thing for a few minutes and try to figure out how he even created it. It’s pretty mesmerizing.
APOCALYPSE NOW by Laurent Durieux
Working with Laurent has always been one of the great pleasures of my job, and this poster is one of my favorites. The rendering, the colors, and the concept are all spectacular.
DEAD RINGERS by Sara Deck
Rarely do concept and execution come together this swimmingly. Sara has established herself as one of the biggest rising stars in the scene today. Illustrations like this show why.
THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH by Martin Ansin
This took years to finally come out, but we always knew that it’d be a huge hit when it eventually did. A perfect poster.
UNCLE DREW by Oliver Barrett
I really wanted to do a poster for this movie, as I’m a huge basketball fan. Oliver took the Skybox card concept to the max and made it one of the more memorable jobs of the year for me.
THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE by Robert Sammelin
Absolutely brilliant. A rare new concept for a film that’s been done to death. We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Robert.
MOONLIGHT by Sara Wong
This illustration was actually introduced to us by Nicolas Delort, and it ended up being one of my favorite posters of 2018. We can’t wait to see what Sara creates in the future.
CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON by Brandon Holt
I share a studio with Brandon in Minneapolis, and I watched him create this drawing in person. His process is insane; the level of detail here is unprecedented. If you’re looking for your new Bernie Wrightson, look no further.
THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER by Greg Ruth
This was another occasion where a poster came in and totally blew me away. Greg has been a godsend to our team this year, and this is my favorite by him.
