Mondo 2020 Wrap-Up - Games / Puzzles
News

Tabletop games are having a weird year. Even though there’s been a huge demand for home-based activities, the inability to actually gather with friends and family has caused a ton of play options to be indefinitely shelved. How do we function as gamers while physically cut off from the community we love?

It’s hard. We’re still adjusting because we REALLY miss conventions, game nights, and spending time in our local shops ogling boxes or learning new games. We’ve navigated as well as we can by focusing our attention on titles with low player counts and using digital platforms for socially-distanced play.

Truth be told, making games wasn’t especially easy this year either, which is why we are so proud as we look back at what we were able to accomplish. In lieu of listing out every game and puzzle we made in 2020, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped along the way. We couldn’t have done it without our:

Partner publishers, illustrators, game designers and developers, graphic designers, photographers, marketing and PR teams, manufacturers, logistics coordinators, warehouse crew, studios, legal and licensing teams, accounting staff, distributors, retailers, content creators, playtesters, project managers, production experts, and of course, our customers.

Without you, we wouldn’t be here. We sincerely hope that the games and puzzles we bring into the world spark some joy in this darkest timeline. We appreciate you and can’t wait to share our tables again someday. - Jayme
