This week, while we don't have any new Mondo or Death Waltz titles (we have a "badass" one next week that we are super excited about), we are going to take the time to spotlight one of our favorite indie labels around - ENJOY THE RIDE / ENJOY THE TOONS records.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES - LET'S KICK SHELL! EP
Pressed on 140 gram Shredder colored vinyl at 45 RPM for optimal sound quality, these albums feature a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle screen print on the B side of the record, and is housed in a 350gsm single LP jacket, which includes flip-up sewer cap cover art, revealing the Turtles when opened. $20

22-year-old Norwegian musician Marie Ulven's debut album is my favorite kind of type of indie-pop - melodically sweet, with some of the most cleverly sour lyrics - such a specific type of nasal angst you could almost classify it as emo. The modern pop production would tell you otherwise, but fifteen years ago she would've been the biggest draw of the main stage of Warped Tour, with sing-alongs heard all the way from the Monster Energy Tent. The Austin-based songwriter returns with a brand new LP and it is absolutely amazing. Synth-based indie-pop (with the emphasis on POP), killer songs, and super clean production mean that this is a winner from beginning to end!
