It's been nearly a year and a half since we released our last STAR WARS portraits with Mike Mitchell. Well, the wait is over as Mike makes his return this week with an amazing take on the original Mandalorian we obsessed over, Boba Fett, this time decked out in his all white Prototype Armor. Designed in 1978 by Joe Johnston, Boba Fett was originally part of a group of "Super Troopers" that donned this all white armor before eventually becoming the singular coolest bounty hunter first introduced in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Mike killed this, and the clean linework in Boba's armor paired with the stark pink background is too good.
It's never a bad time to celebrate our love of a galaxy far, far away, so we're thrilled to offer this portrait alongside our friends at Acme Archives as a Timed Edition release. The poster will be available starting Thursday, December 19 at 12PM CT and will be available for purchase until Sunday, December 22 at 11:59PM (CT). Don't miss out. Anyone else seeing THE RISE OF SKYWALKER this weekend? Hit us up over social media and let us know what you think. We can't wait to check it out.
