Disney's BAMBI premiered in 1942 with the tagline "A great love story" – a concise and accurate description of their fifth full-length release. The film is a love letter to nature, friendship, young love, and family – and it taught generations of children what it's like to cry because of a touching and powerful film.
This week we're pleased to present three brand new enamel pins for BAMBI designed by illustrator Joey Chou. It was a genuine pleasure to work with Chou on the project, whose impressive resume includes designing rides for Tokyo Disney. His character design provides a modern, minimalist rendition of the timeless characters – doe-eyed Bambi, spirited Thumper, and bashful Flower. Chou's packaging pays homage to the film's beautiful backgrounds, a soft impressionist style of the Eastern American woodlands.
