AMERICAN HONEY from writer / director Andrea Arnold is an intimate portrait of love and youth and the beauty and chaos in between. When we saw the film for the first time we were taken by how honest and raw it is while simultaneously maintaining a sense of tenderness and affection for its characters. Led by newcomer Sasha Lane and a never-better performance from Shia LaBeouf, the young cast is universally outstanding. We tapped Simon Prades to capture the film’s underlying love story and exploration of lost Americana in poster form. We couldn’t be more proud to partner with A24 on the latest of their never ending string of excellent films.
