Tomorrow we have two new posters for two films that could not exist on further ends of the spectrum from each other: FREAKED and THE MARTIAN! Released in 1993 and directed by Alex Winter and Tom Stern, FREAKED is one of our favorite black comedies ever. It follows former child star Ricky Coogan (played by Alex Winter) as he stumbles upon a sideshow/amusement park run by Elijah C. Skuggs (Randy Quaid), a man who is using a toxic substance to turn people into sideshow mutants. The film features an amazing supporting cast (including Keanu Reeves as an uncredited Ortiz the Dog Boy), incredible practical make-up effects, and a pretty spectacular soundtrack (hmm...). If you haven't seen the film, we definitely encourage settling in for a weird and wild ride. We are thrilled to offer a poster for this one by Matt Ryan Tobin, who stepped up and delivered an awesome poster perfectly befitting for the sideshow weirdness that the film oozes.
Additionally, we will also have a new poster for Ridley Scott's THE MARTIAN by Gianmarco Magnani! Based on Andy Weir's wonderful novel, the film tells the fictional story of NASA astronaut Mark Watney and his journey to survive life on Mars after being left by his crew when he's presumed dead. We're really excited to work with Gianmarco again to add Watney and his lifesaving Martian rover to his unofficial 'vehicle' series.
