BLOOD RELATIVES - ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK LP
Mondo is proud to present the premiere physical release of the soundtrack to Noah Segan's incredible debut feature film BLOOD RELATIVES, featuring an original score by Robert Allaire, and songs by Screeching Weasel, Ruth Ruth, The Fanger Brothers, and Occults.
Segan, best known for his roles in the films of Rian Johnson (most recently a scene stealing role as Derol in GLASS ONION) wrote, directed and stars in this story about a Vampire drifter who collides with the daughter he never knew he had. This road trip film is dark, funny and emotionally powerful. Part of that tonal balance comes from the confident and clever score by composer Robert Allaire, who marries the mix of genres using instrumentation that keeps the film light on its feet, and in other words, he has produced the perfect score to this Jewish Punk Rock vampire road trip film.
Speaking of Punk Rock, another musical component of the film is the incorporation of songs by Screeching Weasel, Epitaph legends Ruth Ruth and more. These tracks are only available on the physical edition of the album.
This limited edition physical release is pressed on 140 gram Translucent Red Vinyl as well as Cassette.
