“Don’t worry, darling. I have everything under control.”
What a year it’s been for one of Marvel’s most intriguing characters: Wanda Maximoff aka The Scarlet Witch. Fresh off headlining her own incredible series on Disney+, she’s now positioned to be one of the major players of the MCU moving forward, and that’s very exciting news indeed.
This week we’re honoring Wanda with three magical posters. First up is a new poster for WANDAVISION by Jennifer Dionisio. Gorgeous, delicate, and heartbreaking, this one is about what is beautiful and what is real. It’s about the tragedy of conjuring fantasy in an attempt to subvert a crumbling reality. Jennifer absolutely crushed it.
Next up, we’ve got two posters by the brilliant David Aja based on his incredible covers from James Robinson’s excellent 2015 run: SCARLET WITCH. Back in 2017, we released posters of the covers for issues #3 and #6, and tomorrow we’re excited to have two more posters for #8 and #10. If you consider yourself a fan of sequential storytelling, drop what you’re doing and go study David's work on Hawkeye and The Immortal Iron Fist. His cover work on SCARLET WITCH is brain-numbingly great and we’re excited to add two more of our favorites to your wall.
These posters will be available Tuesday, November 9 at 11AM CT on The Drop at mondoshop.com.
