The first memory I have of going to the movies was piling into my dad’s GMC Scout and catching GREMLINS at the drive-in. While I was absolutely TERRIFIED and I had nightmares about gremlins for weeks, it hooked me. In the years following, I consumed as much horror as I could. In fact, I vividly remember buying a ticket to John Hughes’ CURLEY SUE and ducking into Wes Craven’s THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS when I was 12-years-old.
As I’ve gotten older, my love for horror has continued. I do my best to support horror films where I can, from the big budget major studio releases to the midnight features that terrified the latest obscure film festival, I do whatever I can to seek them out. There are few things I love more than turning off the lights, turning up the volume, and immersing myself in a good horror movie.
Here are some of my favorite items we have to keep your collections horrified…
THE OMEN Screenprinted Poster
The perfect poster for this iconic horror film.
HALLOWEEN 3: THE SEASON OF THE WITCH - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP
I love HALLOWEEN 3. I love Tom Atkins. I love the idea of being able to play the Silver Shamrock jingles to countdown the days until my favorite day of the year. A must own for any horror fan.
Michael Myers Enamel Pin
Tom’s art makes this a perfect pin. I cannot wait to put this on my denim jacket and rock it all year long.
CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON Tiki Mug
Like a lot of people, The Creature is my favorite Universal Monster…I still haven’t decided if I’m going to drink out of this tiki or display it…or get one to drink from and one to display?
Death T-Shirt
I mean, technically BILL & TED'S BOGUS JOURNEY isn’t a horror film, but I couldn’t resist at putting this awesome Death tee on my list.
