Honestly, a great question! It’s something we’ve been cooking up for a long time, and we want to send a huge thank you those who pushed us to make it happen. And because our MOTU line is so popular, we knew we had to return to the well and assemble our MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE for another epic line ...
That means Emiliano Santalucia (Concept Design), Florian Bertmer (Packaging Art) and Hector Arce (Art Direction) defining the look of our dream Mondo Lion-O, May Thamtarana (Sculpt) and Tommy Hodges (Sculpt) bringing our hero to life, Mark Bristow (Paint) and Esther Skandunas (Cut & Sew) preparing him for battle, and of course Jordan Christianson (Packaging Design) and Raúl Barrero (Photography) with the finishing touches that really show off how special this project is.
And to celebrate finally getting to share this line with everyone ... we hit up huge THUNDERCATS fan Sanford Greene, the Eisner and Ringo-winning co-creator of BITTER ROOT, to deliver a killer new poster. (This 24” x 36” screenprint will also be available as a 10-Day Timed Edition.)
