Virtua Fighter 2 - Original Video Game Soundtrack

Nearly 30 years after its initial release, Cartridge Thunder (in partnership with SEGA) present the iconic soundtrack to Virtua Fighter 2, composed by Takayuki Nakamura, Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, and Akiko Hashimoto. As is the case with CT’s Virtua Fighter 1 soundtrack release, the music is presented in its original arcade form as well as the arranged versions produced specifically for the Sega Saturn release. Included in this special 2XLP release are newly-written liner notes by Takayuki Nakamura, who composed music for Virtua Fighter 1, 2, and 3. Nakamura-san has provided a rich history of SEGA sound production and an inside look at the music of Virtua Fighter 1 and 2.

In order to include all of the music produced for Virtua Fighter 2, two of the game's themes (Jacky and Sarah) are presented on an included 7-inch record.
