Fight Club Poster

"It’s always fun when an idea you thought was dead springs back to life, and it chimes with the whole vibe of Project Mayhem that it would be this one. I had pitched the idea of featuring Tyler at the time of my original Narrator-centric Fight Club poster as a glow-in-the-dark layer so that buyers would get a surprise when the lights went out, but due to technical limitations and Brad Pitt’s likeness rights, it wasn’t to be. When Mondo dropped me a line asking if I wanted to create a new companion piece for my earlier poster to accompany the upcoming release of the game, all I had to do was dig in my hard drive to find Tyler’s smug grin looking at me. Of course, the likeness rights were still an issue, but shout out to Rob Jones for proposing the sticker on the mouth AND the messed up credit block to make it complete. It’s not often you get two swings at the same film, but I hope collectors will dig this and deem it worthy of a place alongside the other one." - Matt Taylor
