Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Green Hair) - Poster
In the ten (TEN!) years since writer/director Edgar Wright KO'ed us with his live-action adaptation of SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD, we haven't been shy about how much love we have for this precious little movie. Watching it gives us the feeling of doing drugs. Not that we do drugs. Unless Ramona Flowers does drugs, in which case we do them all the time.
So now, we're impossibly excited to have a new poster for SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD by Matt Ryan Tobin! Matty's poster celebrates both the girl of Scott's dreams, Ramona Flowers, as well another pretty iconic staple of pop culture with the initials "S.P." This Green Hair Variant Edition is just one of the three hues available, in tribute to Ramona's color-shifting hair. She changes it every week and a half, dudes. Get used to it.
"The useless drag of another day. The endless drags of a death rock boy."
These are the opening lyrics to "Here Is No Why" from the Smashing Pumpkins' monumental Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness. It’s just one of many examples that line up eerily perfect when played in sync with SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD. Coincidence? Maybe. Either way, this poster is a tribute to a film I love, an album that shaped me, and to all grand and eccentric ideas that challenge the ordinary.
