"Superman means different things to different generations. My first exposure to the character was watching him explode onto cinema screens in the 70s/80s films of my youth. My Superman was larger-than-life, kind, noble, relatable and always heroic (except when exposed to that damn synthetic kryptonite).
I’ve enjoyed many iterations of the Last Son of Krypton’s adventures (most notably ALL-STAR SUPERMAN and SUPERMAN: BIRTHRIGHT on the comic front and SUPERMAN: TAS on the small screen), so when Mondo approached me for my take on the new film, I leapt at the chance. I’m genuinely honored to be able to interpret this generation’s version of Superman in my style and pay homage to Superman’s lasting legacy through the generations."
