Hey everyone! This week we're celebrating the release of the long-in-production, and long-in-restoration, shot-on-video film JUNGLE TRAP on VHS and DVD for the first time ever.
In addition to releasing the home video versions of the film, we will also be releasing Taken By Savages' all new original score for the previously unreleased film. We will also have limited copies of Milan Record's incredible AKIRA re-issue, along with the PYSCHO 7-Inch.
As usual, new releases go on sale Wednesdays at NOON (CT).

The final collaboration between exploitation demigods James Bryan (DON’T GO IN THE WOODS) and the late Renee Harmon (FROZEN SCREAM), JUNGLE TRAP is a decapitation-fueled, shot-on-video horror masterpiece about a jungle hotel haunted by kill-crazy ghosts in loin cloths. The movie remained unedited, unscored, and unseen by human eyes for over two decades . . . UNTIL NOW. Under Bryan’s guidance, the Bleeding Skull! team meticulously edited the movie and recorded a soundtrack utilizing vintage 1980s synthesizers. For the first time ever, Bryan and Harmon’s raging slab of anti-sanity can be deeply enjoyed by the world's most adventurous viewers. That’s you.

The minute the Bleeding Skull! team approached us about releasing the soundtrack to JUNGLE TRAP, we knew we had to do it. The film is a riot and the newly recorded score is incredible. Droning mono synths tie the score together while head crunching analog snare hits wrestle with soaring arpeggios and melodic power synths riding over rough and dirty electronics. It’s easily as good as anything released during the '80s synth score heyday. Do not sleep on this, it’s awesome. Listen here.
