As always, all new vinyl releases go on sale at 12:00PM CT on Wednesday at MondoRecordShop.com
DISTRIBUTED TITLES:
THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Don Peake - Mondo Exclusive Tri-Color Vinyl (Terror-Vision)
The first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack to this Wes Craven classic from 1991. Composer Don Peake created an incredibly atmospheric and spooky score for this film. Peake's career is insane – as a guitarist and member of the Wrecking Crew, he's played on albums by Marvin Gaye, Phil Spector, Everly Brothers, Mahalia Jackson, John Lennon, Jackson Five and more. It's an incredible career, and his musical diversity shines on this score.

Fun fact

H.P Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu" (Cadabra Records)
Andrew Leman's reading of H.P. Lovecraft's short story "The Call of Cthulu" is accompanied by the music of Swedish progressive rock act Anima Morte. The pairing of voice and score results in an audio experience that increases the tension imbued from every word of the writer's pen.
H.P. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu" (Cadabra Records) 180g clear vinyl . $42.
Mr Eff - Nostalgia Confessions (Burning Witches Records)
Mr Eff returns on BWR with his newest release, the heavy and atmospheric Nostalgia Confessions.
While still retaining the movement and rhythm of his first LP Eyes Down, Nostalgia Confessions feels very much locked into a more singular vision, a personal, internal monologue about letting go of the past so we can figure out what's waiting in the future -- or at the very least, freeing some space in our head so we can ponder what to do with the time left. It's an album of electronic tomes dedicated to making sense of a world falling apart in front of our eyes.
Mr Eff - Nostalgia Confessions (Burning Witches Records). Fluorescent Yellow Vinyl. $30.
OGRE - Gates of Nessus (Library of the Occult)
The Fourth Tome of analog Synth & Sorcery soundtracks. Ambiances and mood music for deep dungeon crawling, pen and paper RPGs, and cult paperback fantasies of yester-decades. Inspired by Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun, Hidetaka Miyazaki's Dark Souls, Kentaro Miura's Berserk, Fighting Fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, and many other great adventures.
"Once again, OGRE creates a sonic landscape filled with intrigue and fascination, using an electronic palette both familiar and unknown. Journey now to a forgotten land and ask yourself: 'Are you ready to bow down before the Gates of Nessus?" (Tony Giles - The Record Room)
OGRE - Gates of Nessus- Welcome Home (Library of the Occult Records) Asmodeus Blood Red Vinyl. $30.
